Man Partially Ejected From Car Killed In Philadelphia: Police

A man was killed in a crash through a fence in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 28, police announced that evening.

The driver of a Ford Explorer lost control and crashed the vehicle through a wooden fence in the 4500 block of Fisher Lane in the 15th District, around 1:11 p.m., the police detailed in the release. 

The man driving the Explorer was partially ejected out the driver's side window, PPD explained. The Explorer stopped when it struck an unattended, parked Nissan Versa.

"The driver was pronounced dead on the scene by PFD Medic Unit at 1:24 p.m.," as stated in the release. 

The scene was held, and the investigation is ongoing.
